The following terms apply: If you have a dog, you must have taken out the legally required liability insurance, which covers damage your dog may cause to other people or their property. If you have a cat, it must be neutered and should generally be kept indoors. Please note that you are responsible for interior maintenance, and that you, as the tenant, must pay for any damage caused by your pet. The animal must not cause a mess or damage to the property. Any mess on the property must be cleaned up immediately by the animal’s owner/tenant who has permission to keep it. The established rules for keeping pets must be complied with at all times. In the event of a justified complaint about the pet, this permission will be revoked immediately. In that case, the pet must be removed from the rental unit. Permission to keep a pet is granted through a separate addendum to your lease, which will specify exactly which animal (1 in total) you are permitted to keep. You may not have any animals in your apartment that are not listed in the addendum. Your pet must not cause a nuisance or inconvenience to other residents of the property. Any damage, including any additional cleaning required in stairwells/common areas, must be paid for by the owner/tenant who has permission to keep the animal. These costs are considered a payment obligation; failure to pay on time may result in termination of the tenancy.
