The development consists of 44 terraced houses made of red or yellow bricks. The homes were built as follows: Birkealle in 1970, Poppelvej 8 in 1971, Gl. Kirkevej in 1977, Æblevej 1–11 in 1978 and 2–24 in 1983, Doktorvejen in 1988, and Holmelundsvej and Byrum Hovedgade in 2004. Byrum is the largest town on Læsø.
