The railway town of Tim lies between Ringkøbing and Holstebro, and is only a fifteen-minute drive from the North Sea. The town is surrounded by the forests of West Jutland: Hoverdal and Rejkjær Sande, as well as Tim Mose and Vester Tim Enge. This thriving village has a grocery store, a medical centre, childminders, an integrated nursery and kindergarten, and a school for grades 0–9 with an after-school programme. The town has a strong sense of community, with lots of shared events, including communal meals, talks, a revue, forest days, and more.
